My Best Friend - My Brother and Most respected Parents

In these 28 years of age I came across differently personalities, relatives and friends. Many of them are close to me and I like some of them. But truly speaking the support I get from my Twin Brother (Pabitra) is immeasurable. He is undoubtedly my best friend and the person whom I rely most in this World. As a person - he is very generous and clam and helpful.

But I respect My Father (Pradip Kumar Ghosh) most. I have seen him fighting against many odds and he successfully withstood all upheavals in his life. He is not always successful in business or in work, but he is quite different because of his patience, smily appearance, robust personality, delicate intellect, and huge care for our family. He is my most admirable personality close being with my Mother (Renuka Ghosh), a simple hard working , generous, sweet House Wife, who has devoted her whole life for the betterment of our family.

My Favorite Hero

Swami Vivekananda and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose

From the very childhood I am impressed by these two great Indian Personality, who helped to emerge India from the British Rule. Netaji was a brave and die heart freedom fighter and Swamiji was great spiritual leader of all times, who helped to reform Indian soul.

Subhash Chandra Bose is immortalised in Indian History for having formed the Azad Hind Government in exile, and regrouping and leading the Indian National Army to battle against the allies in Imphal and Burma during the World War II. It is widely regarded that the actions of his nationalist army, and the revolts that it inspired in the British Indian Armed Forces after the war were one of the main driving forces behind the British decision to relinquish the Raj. Vivekananda was a renowned thinker in his own right. One of his most important contributions was to demonstrate how Advaitin thinking is not merely philosophically far-reaching, but how it also has social, even political, consequences. Many consider him an icon for his fearless courage, his positive exhortations to the youth, his broad outlook on social problems, and countless lectures and discourses on Vedanta philosophy.
In 1893, the city of Chicago hosted Parliament of the World’s Religions. The eloquence of Swami Vivekananda and his introduction of Hindu thought to the United States are particularly remembered. The speech has been identified by many to mark the beginning of western interest in Hinduism not as merely an exotic eastern oddity, but as a vital religious and philosophical tradition that might actually have something important to teach the West.

My Favorite Poet and Scientist

Unequivocally Rabindra Nath Tagore is my favorite poet and known by the sobriquet Gurudev,[δ] was a Bengali poet from India, Brahmo Samaj (syncretic Hindu monotheist) philosopher, visual artist, playwright, composer, and novelist whose avant-garde works reshaped Bengali literature and music in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. A celebrated cultural icon of Bengal, he became Asia's first Nobel laureate when he won the 1913 Nobel Prize in Literature.
Tagore contributed heavyly in the Indian Independence Movement and befriend Mahatma Gandhi. Two songs from his rabindrasangit canon are now the national anthems of Bangladesh and India: the Amar Shonar Bangla and the Jana Gana Mana.

Physics being my best subject, Albert Einstein theoretical physicist is my favorite scientist. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest physicists who ever lived. He formulated the special and general theories of relativity. In addition, he made significant contributions to quantum theory and statistical mechanics. While best known for the Theory of Relativity (and specifically mass-energy equivalence, E=mc²), he was awarded the 1921 Nobel Prize for Physics for his explanation of the photoelectric effect in 1905 (his "wonderful year" or "miraculous year") and "for his services to Theoretical Physics".

My Favorite Writer

Sunil Gangopadhaya is my favorite novelist who wrote well over 200 books, Sunil is a prolific writer who has excelled in different genres but declares poetry to be his "first love". But his Novel like Purba Paschim and Pratham Alo is my favorite novels and not to say the adventurous series of KakaBabu was hot favorite in my childhood.

Satyajit Ray’s Sanku and Feluda series are also one of my favourites. I respect him not only as a Writer, but also as a great director. Satyajit Ray was mainly known as an Indian filmmaker who is widely regarded as one of the greatest auteur of 20th century cinema. The Government of India finally awarded him the highest civilian honour Bharat Ratna shortly before his death. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences awarded Ray with an honorary Oscar in 1991 for Lifetime Achievement.

My Favourite Player and Actor
Sourav Ganguly the great cricketer India has ever produced is my Hero Player. He went on to become the captain of Indian cricket team from 2000 to 2005. He has led India to the World Cup 2003 finals, and holds the Indian captaincy record for the most Test victories. In One day he has 22 centuries with an average more than 40, which is quite impressive. But I like Sourav because of his open attitude and fighting spirit. I love Sourav so much that after he been victimized and thrown out of the Indian Squad, I left watching cricket matches. He has shown India how to win and undoubtedly pioneered the new era in Indian Cricket. Steffi Graf is one of the best player I have ever seen. I can still remember, in my childhood, I eagerly waited for every final match Steffi played and she was my dream girl also.

She is generally considered to be one of the greatest women's tennis players of all time. Graf won 22 Grand Slam singles titles, more than any other player has won during the open era, male or female. In 1988, she became the only player to achieve the "Golden Slam" – capturing all four Grand Slam singles titles and the Olympic gold medal in the same year. She was ranked the Women's Tennis Association's No. 1 player for a record 377 weeks
The Never loosing attitude is reflected in one of my favorite movie, Lagan. Produced by Amir Khan, one of the actors I like most. His Rang de Basanti is also hot favorite and nominated for Oscar this year. I am sure; Amir’s contribution will result in Oscar one day, because of his new approach in Bollywood movies.
However in my college days I was found of Ajay Debgan and my all time favourite hero is Amitabh Bacchan and Uttam Kumar. I like Saharukh and Ritthik also, in special cases like in emotional scene and dancing platform. But unfortunately I don’t have special actress whom I liked most, I like almost all actresses when I watch their movies, like Suchitra, Madhuri, Ash, Karina, Priyanka etc etc. But the Character of Tulsi Virani in Star Plus TV serial “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi” is really admirable.

My Favourite political figure
Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the Prime Minister of India in 1996 and again from October 13, 1998 until May 19, 2004.
He is the senior-most leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party and Hindu Nationalism in Indian politics. He has served as a member of the Parliament of India for nearly 50 years.
I like Vajpayee mostly because his clam nature and ability to handle critical issues and also for Infrastructural shaping the new India. Though he is a part of Hindu Nationalism, I have never seen such an impartial secular leader in India.
Second choice is Indira Gandhi, for his charismatic personality and able leadership quality.

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam is one of my most admirable National figures is, who is the current President of India. A notable scientist and an engineer, he is often referred to as the Missile Man of India. He inspires me a lot because of his relentless work for the nation and he always encouraged youths to go beyond boundaries to make a dream country. His book "India 2020" strongly advocates an action plan to develop India into a knowledge superpower and into a developed nation by the year 2020. Kalam is credited with the view that India ought to take a more assertive stance in international relations; he apparently regards his work on India's nuclear weapons program as a way to assert India's place as a future superpower. He has written many books to inspiring our countrymen, and among them Ignited Minds and Wings of Fire is very popular.

My reallife heros : My Teachers
I have been close to many teachers in my home town Kharagpur and I am glad to come closer to them. Mr. S.K.Halder was our class teacher in Class VI and I was really impressed by his personality, same with my home tutors Mr. Tamal Bandopadhyay and Prabhas Sarkar. They always inspired me in literature and arts. But Mr G.S.Maity, my chemistry tutor and M.M.Maity Maths Tutor and Mr. Dipak Das my Biology tutor were really impressive and helped me a lot to get a good rank in Entrance Examination. But the teacher who inspired me most and was my idol one point of time was my physics tutor Dr. Goutam Saha (IIT Kharagpur). We were closely associated in one organization called Vivekananda Juba Maha Mandal and Mr Beni Madhav Goswami was one of my most respected persons. He was a man of great ideology and devoted his life for the social reformation. He had a great personality and care for everybody in the organization.

My Corporate Heros
Amitabh Ray, IBM India Country Manager is the most respectable figure to me in the Corporate World.
Bill Gates, Dhiru Bhai Ambani, Narayan Krishna Murti and Ajim Premji and Arun Bharti Mittal are repected personality in Industry, but since I have seem Amitabhda from close and that’s why I have a high degree of admiration for him. Being a simple graduate, he has achieved a commendable position in Indian IT Industry by his passion for work, commitment and high degree of responsibility and employee friendliness. All his speeches touch my heart and he is very focus in his objectives and goals.
Sanjay Sikdar, one of the admirable persons I have seen in IBM India, not because of his technical skills but for his personal touch and emotional intelligence. He is a perfect example of Work life balance and Client Communication and Employee Friendliness.

Dr. Prithwis Mukerjee, who is one of the senior managers in IBM, has impressed me a lot recently. I respect him not only for the corporate skills, but for his innovative writing and thoughts. He is always trying to do something and motivating a mass through his blogs. His understanding of Vedanta is really praiseworthy.
